What is a Network Camera
A network camera lets you view real-time images over the Internet. In other words, you can monitor your home or office from a distant location using a PC, even a multi funciton mobile telephone or PDA. Network cameras even features a built-in Web server function, so the network camera does not have to be connected to a PC.
Wireless Connectivity
Wireless means that you can set up cameras anywhere without cumbersome LAN cable connections. Most wireless Network Cameras support the 802.11g 54-Mbps / IEEE 802.11b 11-Mbps wireless communication protocol for fast transmission of recorded images to a distant PC.
